About Florence Design Academy

Now let us start discussing the academy. This epic academy is situated in Palazzo Testa of Florence City, which resides in the region of Italy’s capital Tuscany. This city is so beautiful with its fine creative architecture such as Ponte Vecchio, Florence Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio etc which makes it a masterpiece of Renaissance art and architecture and guys even Palazzo Testa is one the historical building from XVII century. Therefore studying at Florence design academy will be next to a boon for those who want to study abroad as they will not only learn designing skills but they going to learn and witness an Italian culture and architecture such as masterpieces n created by historical Renaissance artists and Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Brunelleschi are few of them. Since all courses are taught here in the English language but if you want to learn the Italian language and architectural terminology deeper so I advise you to enrol yourself for Italian languages and make sure they have only limited seats for that.

The Florence design academy was started in the year 1991 by an American artist named Daniel Graves, who just didn’t start it but directed it as well to offer training to those who aspire to become professional draftsman, painters, and sculptors. As we have discussed earlier that studying at Florence design academy, Italy will next to a boon for everyone dreaming of getting a high standard and sophisticated designing education.
FDA provides two kinds of education options:

  1. Academic Course
  2. Master Course

The academic courses are ranging from one year program to three-year program in the sectors of:

  1. Graphic Design

  3. Industrial and Product Design

Now let us begin with the graphic design course. In this program, they will provide all the necessary techniques and knowledge required for a person to become a professional such as traditional art techniques like painting, still life shades or modern digital art techniques like motion graphic videos. During the execution of this course, students will learn and work using high-tech equipment such as Professional Workstations with a high resolution 19“ Monitor, digital graphics tablet with a digital pen as they are working as a professional in a design-studios so that he or she may become a competitive designer. If we talk about technology then their faculties will goanna teach them on much high-end technical software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash, 3D Studio MAX, Autocad, Rhinoceros 3D and many more which are used by some high-class brand firms from various sectors like BMW, Nokia, Porsche, Boing, Daimler Chrysler, Fiat, Toyota and Yamaha.

Now lets us move to the second program i.e. interior design. This course or program plays a very important role not just in the life of a designer but also in our daily life as well. It is so because when we talk about an interior designing profession then that means the professional will goanna groom the personality of an interior or a room. The most important phase and area of work in this sector are playing with light, colour, shadows, materials, shapes, furniture design and architectural details as only working in these sectors we can groom the personality of our room. During the execution, of course, the high-tech hardware for students includes a professional workstation with a high resolution 24“Monitor, digital graphics tablet with a digital pen so that student can feel like working in a professional studio and their technologies or software’s they will learn includes Autocad, 3D Studio MAX, Photoshop etc.

Now the last sector is Industrial and Product Design. Let us study this sector now. This is quite similar to the interior one as here you also have to make some object or products but not only limited to interior stuff but much other stuff such as automobile or gadget or any kind of modern equipment. You will learn here the functionality and appearance of any object and also the factors that affect creating an object such as its shape, colour, material and much more and the addition of this your curriculum will include fusion of these factors as well. If you talk about hardware and software then you will be working on similar things such as a professional workstation with a high resolution 24“Monitor, digital graphics tablet with a digital pen and even the software’s includes Autocad, Photoshop, 3D Studio MAX, Rhinoceros 3D etc. which are quite similar to interior design course.

Well, this was all about the academic courses now we are heading towards the master courses. The master degree courses are only of one year only in similar sectors and they are listed below:

  1. Master of Graphic Design
  2. Master of Interior Design
  3. Master of Industrial Design

Now you will be wondering that how both the courses are different from each other. Actually, the mainframe of mind behind the creation of a Master degree course is that both graduate students and professionals can improve their skills and level knowledge at the very high level of their profession.

If we talk about the faculty who gonna teach you is a dynamic team with great ideas with a vast experience and knowledge in their respective disciplines.
