Eligibility for NIFT Entrance exam?

  • 12th class of any recognized Central/ State Board like CBSE or 12th from National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
  • or

  • General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB).
  • or

  • Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system.
  • or

  • 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.

    Syllabus for NIFT Entrance exam?

    General Ability Test (GAT): – This test will comprise of various section of Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability and English Comprehension, Analytical and Logical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Case Study, Problem solving approach, Leadership qualities, Effective communication.

    Creative Ability Test (GAT): – CAT Paper is designed to test candidate’s imagination, creativity, power of observation, sense of proportion, creativity in a development of an imagination,designing and sketching.Cat Paper is defined in terms of 3D, perspective, human figure, space design, visual communications etc.

    Situation Test / Group Discussion / Interview -Shortlisted candidates from the written entrance examination have to give a situation test in which candidate has to create a 3d model with the help of pappers and other craft material as shown in below image.
